Project Based Learning

Projects at Kidditech provide endless opportunities for children’s ideas to be valued, their creativity encouraged, and their interests nurtured. Alongside the rich hands-on experiences and play that happen every day, our teachers and tamariki collaborate to plan each term’s project — drawing on everyone’s ideas and theories.

Project group work offers focused time to explore, experiment, and discover across all curriculum areas. Rather than giving immediate answers, teachers create experiences that help children investigate and find answers for themselves.  Through books, online research, conversations with family, community outings, and welcoming visitors into the centre.
